Case Study: Installation of New Vertical Sliding Windows in Modbury

We recently completed an exciting project in Modbury, where we installed new vertical sliding windows. Our client had a clear vision: the new windows needed to look identical to the old ones being replaced.

The accompanying photos showcase the striking similarity between the old and new windows, highlighting our commitment to quality and attention to detail. The project not only meets but exceeds the client’s expectations, ensuring the new windows enhance both the beauty and functionality of the property.

Project Details:

Old Windows:

  • Material: Wood
  • Glazing: Single glazed

New Windows:

  • Material: UPVC
  • Glazing: Double glazed, significantly enhancing thermal efficiency
  • Design: Styled to look like traditional sash windows, preserving the original aesthetic

Additional Features:

  • Georgian Bars: These were included to replicate the classic look and feel of the original windows.

Outcome:

The newly installed windows are almost indistinguishable from the original wooden ones, successfully maintaining the traditional appearance. The upgrade to double glazing has also improved the thermal efficiency of the property.
